Successful delivery of 3 customised work platforms for our customer Pilatus Ltd.

We were able to complete a successful project in the aviation industry: the development and production of special tail stages for Pilatus Ltd. The scope of supply included three customised work platforms that provide optimal working conditions at the rear of the aircraft.

The tail work platforms are equipped with a special cut-out into which the aircraft can be reversed. The contours enclose the aircraft tail precisely and enable safe and efficient working on the upper part, while at the same time ensuring optimal access to the lower part of the aircraft without having to move it.

Thanks to individually adjustable floor elements on the upper level, the work surface can be seamlessly adapted to the aircraft. An integrated bumper rail protects the aircraft from damage. The larger work platform also has lowerable railings that ensure maximum safety at all times, even when tasks change.

When work is being carried out on the aircraft on the lower level, the platforms on the upper level can simply be pushed to the side, creating enough space for comfortable working. The aircraft can remain where it is. The rail-guided platforms also offer maximum flexibility, as they can be easily moved to the respective work location.

Safety meets efficiency: we have installed a central battery brake to make the platforms safely accessible even if not all castors are accessible. With a simple hand movement, the entire platform is reliably braked and all castors are locked.
